Surf & Turf @ Camping, Trinidad

 

Surf and Turf is arguably any seafood / meat combo, and I feel that term can be stretched even further when referring to camping food stuffs. The photo isn't amazing, but to be honest,  I wasn't planning to post this so alas, this is the photographic evidence I got. 

The campaign had a full-on grill, so we fired up a steak from the local Rancho Largo (supplied through Spade & Spoon) and opened up Patagonia Lemon Herb Mussels. The steak was amazing though I wasn't keen on the tinned mussels. I have been loving on different tinned fish but the thick, grainy texture of these mussels wasn't for me.
